Analysis Of Population Spatial Distribution, Evolution And Model Fitting In Beijing

Based on the analysis of the spatial distribution of population and urbanization in Beijing City,this study used SDE spatial statistical and spatial autocorrelation analysis methods which realized by the Arc GIS technology and GeoDa analysis software,to describe the current population spatial distribution in Beijing city and nearly 30 years of evolution in several dimensions.This paper is going to use data from 1982-2010 in Beijing city during the four national census,"Beijing Statistical Yearbook" and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of statistics official website of the resident population.Combined with classical theory and the city's own characteristics,we aimed to explain the current population spatial distribution characteristics and the evolution process.According to these characteristics,we select the appropriate population spatial distribution model and used population data in recent 11 years to study the current population spatial distribution in Beijing City,and also make the result analysis,then put forward to the corresponding policy suggestions.It is found that the resident population in Beijing is mainly concentrated in the East and the south.The density of the resident population is decreasing step by step.The population in Beijing has significant global and local spatial agglomeration.The evolution of population in recent nearly 30 years shows: the city's total population has expanded and increased population growth accelerated;the capital function core area to reduce the population density,city function expansion area to become the new main force of Beijing city population;population agglomeration spatial development centripetal enhancement,little migration of population gravity center,population distribution structure stable.What's more,the spatial distribution of population in Beijing is well fitted with the Clark model.On the basis of the above research results,we make a further summary and put forward the policy suggestions: Strictly control the population size to realize the function of the capital;Realizing the development of the multi centralization of Beijing,and removing the densely populated areas;Continue to implement the strategy of functional area positioning,and take precautions against the possible population problems that may occur in the future city.
