Responsibility is a core quality that students must have in order to fully develop and achieve talents.It is the responsibility and task of education to cultivate and improve students' sense of responsibility.Teachers as the implementers of educational activities show behavioral tendencies and management methods in the education process,that is,leadership styles can affect students' behaviors and attitudes,especially the transformational leadership styles that are more concerned about.However,there have been few studies on the relationship between teachers' transformational leadership style and students' sense of responsibility and the mechanism of action.Therefore,this study has used a questionnaire survey method and experimental methods to explore the influence of teacher transformational leadership style on junior high school students' sense of responsibility and self-efficacy.The mediating role of the sensation has opened up a new way for the cultivation of student responsibility.Around this goal,the study conducted three studies:In the first study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 300 junior high school students in Hengyang and Loudi to investigate the characteristics of junior high school responsibility and the relationship between teachers' transformational leadership style and junior high school students' sense of responsibility.The results show that:(1)The gender and grade interactions of the junior high school students' sense of responsibility are significant,that is,the girls in the first grade are higher than the boys,the gender differences in the second and third grades are not significant;the scores of the female students in the first grade are higher than others.In both grades,the difference in grades among boys is not significant.(2)The teachers' transformational leadership style and its dimensions are positively related to junior high school students' sense of responsibility.In research two,92 students from Grade 8 in a middle school in Changsha were formally participants.They used the behavioral experiment method designed by the participants and started the style of teacher leadership through materials to explore the influence of teachers'transformational leadership style on junior high school students' sense of responsibility.The results show that teachers' transformational leadership style has a significant positive effect on junior high school students' sense of responsibility.In the third study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 302 junior high school students in two middle schools in Huaihua and Hengyang to further discuss the mediating role of self-efficacy in teachers' transformational leadership style and junior high school students' responsibility.The results show that self-efficacy has a partial mediating effect between these two variables.From this study,we can see that junior high school students' sense of responsibility is higher than that of junior high school girls and junior high school students.Teacher' transformational leadership can positively affect junior high school students' sense of responsibility.The sense of self-efficacy of junior high school students plays an intermediary role in explaining the transformational leadership and its sense of responsibility.
