Research On The Law-related Education Of Morality And The Rule Of Law Courses In Junior High School

Rule by law is the essential requirement and important guarantee of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Insisting on the legal education is an important way to realize the rule of law and an effective means to improve the rule of law.Morality and Law in junior high school is the main position of the legal education for teenagers,and it is the key carrier to cultivate the legal literacy and moral quality of teenagers.Legal education has been incorporated into the national education system,and it has entered the curriculum system of primary and secondary schools.This is a big leap in "law" education.Teenagers in junior middle school stage are experiencing the rapid changes of body and mind,conflicts among various values,so it is the prime-time to construct their legal knowledge system,improve legal skills,set up legal belief.During this period,it cannot be ignored to grasp and make good make use of the legal education courses-Morality and Law.With the four teaching factors-the most direct educators,education methods and means,education resources and education object as its conception,this article investigated and analyzed the present situation of legal education in Morality and Law course,expounded four problems of this course--the lack of teacher's legal professional qualities,single education methods and means,the lack of teaching resources and the inadequacy of students' subjectivity,and analyzed the reasons.It attempted to solve these problems by establishing a professional teacher team,enriching teaching methods and means,developing and expanding teaching resources,and enhancing the students' subjectivity,so as to make students can understand,observe,respect,and protect law then eventually becomes a qualified citizen with legal literacy.
