The Influence Of Human Capital Investment On Industrial Structure Upgrading In Jiangsu Province

Human capital,as material capital,is an important factor in the production process.The importance of human capital is becoming more and more prominent in modern national and regional economic development.Since the reform and opening up,China's economic development level has continuously improved to become the world's second largest economy.At the same time,it should be noted that the Chinese economy has entered a new stage of development and put forward the requirements for promoting economic growth to the high quality stage.As a major economic province in China,Jiangsu province plays an important role in the strategic position of national economic development.The economic development of Jiangsu province also faces a new situation,which puts forward the development goal of new Jiangsu,and puts forward the innovation of gathering force,focusing on enriching people and building a well-off society in a high level.,its key and core is to realize the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure,and promote the construction of Jiangsu province "manufacturing strong province" and "innovation strong province".The foundation and premise of realizing this goal is to have a group of professional talents and innovative talents with innovative ability and knowledge level,and form a group of leading enterprises with advanced technology and industry leading power.As an important province of science and education in China,Jiangsu province boasts abundant scientific and educational resources and advantages in human capital development.Research the role of human capital in upgrade of industrial structure,it has important realistic significance to take Jiangsu?s economy to a new level.First,the paper defines the relevant basic concepts.On this basis,from the human capital research,industrial structure upgrade research,the relationship between human capital and industrial structure research for empirical research of scholars both at home and abroad are summarized.Then,the paper analyzes the overall situation of human capital investment and industrial structure in Jiangsu province and the comparison of the sub-regions from 2005 to 2015.Through the introduction of industrial structure and rationalization of industrial structure,the status of industrial structure upgrading in Jiangsu province has been analyzed and described quantitatively.After that,the paper analyzes the theoretical mechanism of human capital investment affecting industrial structure upgrading,it is believed that humancapital investment mainly affects industrial structure upgrading by changing demand structure,influencing factor flow and promoting technological innovation.On the basis of theoretical analysis,using panel data of 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu province from 2005 to 2015 establish the SDM models,the effect of human capital investment on industrial structure upgrading is tested.Meanwhile,the influence of different regions were studied.It has been found that human capital and industrial structure upgrade have obvious spatial dependence and become more and more dependent over time;human capital and industrial structure upgrade have significant spatial spillover effect,and human capital investment significantly promotes industrial structure upgrading.Finally,the article on the basis of combining the empirical conclusions,according to the actual development of Jiangsu province,on how to give play to the role of human capital,to speed up the upgrading of industrial structure in Jiangsu province,realize the coordinated development of regional economy in Jiangsu puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
