With the continuous expansion of universities,the number of graduates are increasing,On the one hand,the situation lead them more pressure in that not recognized social reality and the educational background of recognition has gradually decreased.on the other hand,it brings certain economic pressure to the family,also brought some unstable factor.Therefore,to promote that graduates employ has become the focus of government departments at all levels.These college graduates through learning,master certain knowledge and ability,but because there is no good convergence between the universities and enterprises,departments,enterprises also resulted in the recruitment of personnel of college graduates the ability to question,causes the student to be very difficult in employment into the right position.Therefore,on the basis of the theory of competence proposed by Mcclelland,and with some related research and practical research,think that college students' employment competence in job is extremely important,can help students to effectively get their occupation and get better development in the future.This paper will build a model of employ ability and job performance to measure the relationship between the competence of the students participating in the internship and the job performance.In this study,a total of 300 valid questionnaires were collected from the graduates of colleges and universities in Shanxi Province,and the statistical analysis software SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0 were used to carry out the research.Through the analysis of data,we prove the hypothesis.In the end,this paper also puts forward some Suggestions on improving college students' employment competence from the four aspects of school,students,enterprises and government to better help college students obtain employment.The conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)the employment competence of college students has a positive impact on job performance.Moreover,the five dimensions of employment competence have been well verified for the impact of each dimension of work performance,indicating that the level of competency affects the performance level.(2)the employment competency of university graduates is significantly higher than that of ordinary colleges and universities.(3)each dimension of college students' employment competence has different degree of prediction effect on each dimension of performance.
