| Since the emergence and rapid spread of the COVID-19,it has brought serious negative effects on the national economy and people’s lives.Compared with the immediate life threat of the epidemic,its impact on the employment of college students is lagging and persistent.Even if the global epidemic is controlled,the negative impact of the epidemic on the employment of college students will still exist for a period of time.The persistent global epidemic environment and the complete "recovery" of my country’s economic and social system will undoubtedly make the already severe employment situation of fresh graduates even more severe.Therefore,how to solve the employment problem of fresh graduates,the main body of employment,Improving its employment performance has become an extremely important part of solving the problem of employment and people’s livelihood.Therefore,based on the USEM model of employability proposed by scholars and the intensity of job hunting behavior,combined with previous studies,and based on some specific situations in our actual survey,this article finds that employability and job hunting behavior are two dimensions corresponding to the improvement of graduates.Employment performance is extremely important.Improving these two abilities is conducive to improving the employment efficiency and employment satisfaction of fresh graduates.By constructing the USEM model of employability and the job-hunting behavior model,this paper conducts an overall assessment of the comprehensive quality of the corresponding graduates in the job hunting,and conducts an in-depth investigation by using statistical analysis software such as SPSS and STATA after a questionnaire survey of recent graduates in Chongqing.the study.Through the discussion of the results of data analysis,the hypothesis we put forward is verified.Finally,the following main conclusions are drawn:(1)There is a positive correlation between employability and job-seeking behavior,that is,employability affects the intensity and frequency of job-seeking behavior of job-seekers;(2)employability and employment performance There is a positive correlation between them,and the improvement of employability will eventually improve employment performance;(3)There is a positive correlation between job search behavior and employment performance,and the increase in the overall intensity of job search behavior will also promote the improvement of employment performance.(4)Different genders and different educational backgrounds have obvious differences in job hunting behaviors,and they will eventually affect their own evaluation of employment performance.Finally,this article also proposes countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the employability of college students and job hunting behavior from four aspects: the government,universities,enterprises,and fresh graduates themselves. |
