Reading after class can not only broaden students' horizons,increase their knowledge,develop good self-learning and reading abilities,but also can consolidate all kinds of knowledge students have learned during the class.It plays an important role in improving students' reading comprehension and improving their thinking ability.Although extra-curricular reading has attracted the attention of teachers and students in many economically developed areas,due to the restrictions imposed by realistic conditions in boarding schools in some ethnic areas,most students in boarding schools are unclear about the after-class reading,especially regarding Historical extracurricular readings did not attract enough attention from teachers and students.In the process of learning history,students gradually lost interest in history.This article takes the M middle school of Chongzuo City as an example to study the history of reading outside the high school students who are staying in the school and finds some problems: students have less time to read,a single source of reading,a simple way,and strong entertainment;The recognition of the importance of extracurricular reading is not enough,and the main role of the school has not been fully played;teachers lack the scientific and effective methods to guide extracurricular reading.It also proposes a corresponding solution strategy: First of all,it is necessary to stimulate students' history and interest in extracurricular reading;Second,from the multiple perspectives of schools,teachers,and parents,it is necessary to strengthen the students' history of extracurricular reading and enhance their understanding of the importance of extracurricular reading;The extra-curricular reading activities of the school enhance teachers' ability to guide students in reading after class and create a good reading environment.The full text is mainly divided into three parts.The first part mainly discusses the reasons why boarding high school students need to read after class in history.It analyzes the importance of middle school students in strengthening the history of extracurricular reading.The second part conducts a questionnaire survey on the historical reading of high school students in M Middle School in Chongzuo City.Investigation and analysis of the existing problems;the third part proposes corresponding solutions to existing problems.
