| Adolescence is an important period in the physiological development of the human body.As boys and girls enter adolescence, their bodies change dramatically, and at the same time, they face a variety of worries and confusion. The lack of adolescent education may lead to sexually transmitted infections, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, and sexual violence among adolescents, among other heartbreaking consequences. The lack of adolescent health education, especially physiological health education,is often exacerbated by the backward economic, educational, and health development of ethnic minorities living in remote areas,as well as the influence of local culture.Junior high school boarding students leave their families to live in schools at such a special time, and there is little physiological health education from their families. Therefore, adolescent health education in schools is indispensable for adolescents, and timely scientific methods to guide adolescent physiological health education for boarding junior high school students in ethnic areas can help students pass adolescence smoothly. The thesis is divided into six parts, the first part is to explain the background and significance of the selected topic,as well as the research process and current situation of adolescent physiological health at home and abroad.Taking the adolescent physiological health of secondary school students as the research content, the literature method, questionnaire method, interview method and statistical method are used to understand the adolescent physiological health education of boarding secondary school students in ethnic areas. The second part is to explain the content of related theories and concepts. The third part is to understand the level of students’ adolescent physiological health in three aspects: health knowledge, health attitude and health behavior by distributing questionnaires to some 7th and 8th grade students in three ethnic middle schools in G County as the research subjects. In the fourth part, based on the results of the questionnaires,we learned the level of students’ knowledge of physiological health, their attitudes toward physiological education, and the contents expected and needed in the later teaching practice, and conducted the design of the curriculum, including classroom teaching,micro-lessons,thematic lectures and thematic class meetings. These four different formats were used to output the four contents of "Human Reproduction","Physiology of Puberty","Menstrual Health" and "Prevention of Sexual Assault".The fifth part is a mathematical statistical method to test whether and to what extent the teaching practice has had a positive impact on students’ physiological knowledge, attitudes and behaviors before and after the teaching practice. And based on the questionnaire and the process of teaching practice,it was found that the reasons for the inability to successfully implement adolescent physiological health education in ethnic areas were;insufficient attention from schools, shortage of teaching resources, insufficient penetration in the subject, and lack of physiological health education at home. And based on the content of the interviews and communication with teachers, four countermeasures were proposed in the context of the local area, such as the establishment of an adolescent health curriculum, professional training for teachers, collaborative teaching between home and school, and community participation and support. The sixth part,i.e.,the author provides a small summary of this study and looks forward to future research directions. |
