Research On The Evaluation Of Scientific Research Innovation Ability Of Universities In Jiangxi Province

Universities have abundant human resources and knowledge resources.In addition to daily teaching activities,they also undertake various tasks of scientific research,innovation and transformation.The research innovation not only can improve the level of scientific research,but also the core competence of universities It also plays a positive role in promoting social economic development and enhancing regional competitiveness.Therefore,it is necessary to study the evaluation of the scientific research innovation ability of universities and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of scientific research innovation of universities to put forward pertinent countermeasures and suggestions for universities to enhance scientific research innovation ability,and promote the good development and continuous improvement of scientific research innovation of universities.Previous studies on the scientific research innovation ability of universities were relatively simple.Moreover,there were more absolute numbers in the index system.Some absolute indicators were biased in evaluating the scientific research innovation ability of universities.Based on the above background,building a more reasonable and effective index system and applying a more reasonable and comprehensive evaluation model to conduct a more comprehensive and scientific evaluation of scientific research innovation ability of universities in Jiangxi Province has strong theoretical significance and practical value.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper establishes the evaluation index system of scientific research innovation of universities.Based on the literature research,the evaluation index system of university scientific research innovation competitiveness from China Scientific Evaluation Center and the method of expert investigation,the evaluation index system of scientific research innovation ability is constructed from three aspects of input,output and benefit.(2)This paper builds the evaluation model of scientific research innovation ability of universities.First,the evaluation index system reduced model is built on Pearson correlation analysis,and the reduction methods and steps of scientific research innovation ability index are given.Secondly,the evaluation model of scientific research innovation ability of universities is established by using entropy method,and the methods and steps of the evaluation of scientific research innovation ability of universities is analyzed.Thirdly,the evaluation model of scientific research innovation ability is established by using cluster analysis,and the methods and steps to classify the ability of university scientific research innovation are given.(3)The evaluation of scientific research innovation ability of universities in Jiangxi Province is analyzed horizontally and vertically through the index system and model constructed in this paper.In the horizontal analysis,the scientific research innovation ability of 26 universities in Jiangxi Province is evaluated based on entropy method.Meanwhile,cluster analysis is carried out for 26 universities in Jiangxi Province.In the longitudinal analysis,the past five years scientific research innovation ability of the top five universities in the horizontal analysis is evaluated.Based on the results of empirical analysis,some relevant countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the scientific research innovation ability of universities.
