With the development of higher education and the expansion of university enrollment,the employment problem of college graduates becomes increasingly prominent.In the process of college graduates entering the labor market,the inherent employment value orientation has a greater impact on the final employment direction and results.In order to solve the employment problem of college graduates fundamentally,it is necessary not only to reform the government policy and adjust the education system,but also to guide the graduates to set up the correct view of employment and the proper intention of employment.In the employment process of female college graduates,gender factors reduce the employment rate of female graduates.Female college graduates are different from boys in terms of employment outcomes,starting salaries and the first time to find jobs.In order to better promote the employment situation of female college graduates,this paper starting from the employment intention of female college graduates,takes the female college graduates of Gansu Province in 2016 as the research object,and adopts the method of combining qualitative and quantitative research.Through the investigation of female college graduates' employment intention in Gansu province,we can understand the characteristics of female college graduates' employment intention and analyze the influencing factors of employment intention.According to the results of the investigation,combined with the human capital theory,family social capital and other related theories to analyze,and then put forward to promote the employment of female college graduates countermeasures and suggestions.The study found that female college graduates in Gansu Province in the employment intention of the specific characteristics of the three dimensions:first,preference is given to state-owned compnay in the choice of type of employment intention.Second,in the geographical selection of employment intention,from the intention to go to the West and the intention to go to rural employment,more than 2/3of the female college graduates are willing to go to the West.More than half of female college graduates said they would like to go to work in rural areas.Among the factors influencing employment intention: academic background,academic achievement,cognition of social relations and so on,it has a significant influence on the choice of company type of female college graduates' employment intention.The factors such as educational background,student cadre service,mother's highest education,cognition of major and social relationship will have significant influence on female collegegraduates' intention to go to the west for employment.The factors such as subject category,academic background,mother's highest educational background,and the recognition of school awareness and major will affect the intention of female college graduates to go to rural areas for employment.In view of the above conclusions,this paper puts forward four suggestions on how to promote the employment of female college graduates.At the government level:government decision-making incorporates gender concepts,improves employment-related legislation,and solves problems in the human capital demand side.At the social level: employing companies should change their concepts and create an equal employment environment for society.At the university level: adjustment of labor supply,employment assistance for graduates,support for employment guidance,etc.At the personal level: female college graduates change their employment awareness,women universities pay attention to improve their employability.
