The cognitive misunderstanding of people,the poor source of students and lack of optimism of employment in secondary vocational school have led to students' low learning interest in vocational colleges.At the meantime,secondary vocational school students don't pay much attention to professional and public courses,especially mathematics.By investigation and experiment of a secondary vocational school in Baiyin City,Gansu province,this study mainly discusses three research questions:How is the secondary vocational students' mathematic learning situation?In order to improve secondary vocational students' mathematic learning ability,how to conduct case teaching in mathematics?What is the effect of the teaching experiment of secondary vocational mathematics?Based on the above three research questions,this study mainly uses literature analysis method,investigation method and comparative method.Through a series of studies,it investigates students' mathematics study present situation in one baiyin secondary vocational school.Putting forward the mathematics teaching strategies,participating in the students and teachers,and investigating the teaching effect to improve students' mathematics study present situation.The current situation of students' mathematics in one secondary vocational school in Baiyin City is as follows: Secondary vocational school students still have unclear learning objectives and mathematic subject orientation.Secondary vocational students have a relative serious lack of motivation for mathematics learning.The mathematics study habits of secondary vocational students are very poor.Based on this situation,it proposes strategies for designing mathematics cases and implementing strategies for case teaching.The case of teaching design strategies includes:identifying topics,drawing up plans,field visits,collecting data,material processing,concept writing and discussing amendments to form the text.The case of teaching implementation strategy includes:Prepare enough before class and teachers must take responsibility for students.Changing the view of teachers and students,and high lighting the main status of students.Teachers should guide students discuss cases actively and create a cooperative learning atmosphere.Elaborating classroom summary and strengthening the rigorous knowledge structure.Writing analysis report and then comparing expectations with reality.According to the case teaching process,the teaching experiment of secondary vocational mathematics was conducted,which produced a better response between teachers and students.Conclusions were as follows: The learning attitude,motivation and interest of secondary vocational students have changed positively.The application consciousness of mathematics in secondary vocational students has improved.The cultivation,learning methods and behavior habits of students in secondary vocational school have been enhanced and improved.Secondary vocational students' subjective consciousness,cooperative spirit,independent thinking ability,the ability to analyze problems,self-expression and active speech ability are all improved to some extent.Teaching efficiency of mathematics class have improved.High requirements for teachers are conducive to promoting the professional development of teachers and improving the teaching and research level of teachers.Finally,because there is no professional,perfect,normative,mathematical case resources that can be used as teaching materials,and the shortage of mathematics teaching case resources,some Suggestions are put forward,it is necessary to further study the supplement and perfection of case resources.
