The region is an important carrier of high School geography,which is the main channel to carry out the study of the process of geographical development,the reason of geographical formation and the rule of geographical distribution.At the same time,regional geography is one of the three main topics in geography course of high School.Therefore,the study of regional geography is the most important part of high school geography teaching.At present,there are many problems in the high school geography teaching,such as the current regional geography teaching making the students lack of knowledge and the inner experience of life and comprehension,geographic literacy not getting improved significantly.Based on this,the core content of we study is how to use knowledge in the area of high school geography content of academic education to foster more citizens with excellent geographic literacy in the future.First of all,this article briefly introduces the exploration of the background,the theoretical and practical significance,the domestic and foreign literature review,research ideas and methods of the content of this article.The second is the basic theory,analyzing the regional geography,teaching strategy,regional geographic literacy.On the basis of this,it discusses the theoretical basis of regional high school geographic literacy,including the geography course teaching theory,constructivism learning theory,humanistic learning theory and regional geography theory.Thirdly,on the premise conditions,theoretical analysis obtains more comprehensive and objective feedback through the questionnaire investigation,combined with the behavior of the observation research methods.Then compare and analyze the students' geographic literacy of the municipal key high school,the district high school and the ordinary high school.This paper deeply analyzes the deficiencies and the reasons of the current regional geography teaching in high school geographic literacy.The last is about the improvement of the geography teaching process in the high school geography teaching process.On the basis of the theory research and practice analysis of the first two parts,put forward the countermeasures of cultivating high school geographic literacy,including the geographical science literacy from the perspective of education practice.Improving teachers' strengthen and reflection builds a comprehensive curriculum system.Using situational experience teaching methods evaluates course scientifically and reasonably.
