Research On Strategies For Cultivating Students' Human-earth Coordination View By High School Regional Geography Teaching

The Ministry of Education issued ?General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)?in 2018 which revised the curriculum plan and disciplined curriculum standards,condensed the core of geography literacy,and put forward four cores of geography literacy.The four cores are the following: human-earth coordination view,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice.And "human-earth coordination view" is the core concept of geography.Nowadays,problems such as population,resources,environment and development keep emerging.Facing these problems,people must have a correct understanding of the relationship between human beings and the geographical environment.High school geography course plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' human-earth coordination literacy,especially regional geography of senior high school.Therefore,the research on cultivation strategy which about the students' human-earth coordination literacy in high school regional geography teaching,can help optimize the teaching in high school regional geography.What is more,it also improves students' human-earth coordination literacy,accomplishes the goal of high school geography curriculum course,and carries out the fundamental task of strengthening moral education.This paper is based on previous studies,using literature review,questionnaire survey,comprehensive analysis and case analysis.According to the connotation and evaluation criteria of the human-land coordination view,this paper is guided by sustainable development theory,constructive learning theory and learning transfer theory.Firstly,the paper investigates the current cultivation situation of human-earth coordination view in high school regional geography teaching in Fangcheng Port.And then it analyzes the results of the survey,and summarizes the existing problems in the cultivation of human-earth coordination view in regional geography teaching.Finally,according to the existing problems,this paper discusses the cultivationstrategies of human-earth coordination in high school regional geography teaching,and conducts an empirical study on the cultivation strategies.Based on the investigation of the current cultivation situation of the human-earth coordination view in high school regional geography teaching,there are the following conclusions:(1)Students do not have a comprehensive understanding of human-earth coordination literacy.The ability of students to identify human-earth relationship is generally declining from simple level to complex level.However they have a high willingness to realize human-earth relationship in regional geography teaching.(2)Teachers do not have enough understanding of the cultivation in students' human-earth coordination literacy.Although most teachers believe that the formation of human-earth coordination literacy has a great impact on students' future development,it has not been paid much attention in geography teaching.(3)Paying less attention in the cultivation of human-earth coordination view in high school regional geography teaching.Most teachers are conscious to cultivate students' human-earth coordination literacy and have a non-enough comprehensive teaching content selection.(4)The teaching method in the cultivation of human-earth coordination view is single.The most frequently used teaching method is lecturing,which is relatively simple in regional geography teaching.(5)There are many factors leading teachers neglect the cultivation of students' human-earth coordination literacy in regional geography teaching,such as slightly tense teaching schedule,insufficient attention by teachers and teaching and research group,and limited teaching conditions in schools.According to the requirements of ?General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)?,and the current existing problems in cultivation of human-earth coordination view in high school regional geography teaching,this paper put forward the following strategies:(1)Strategy in Teachers' level.This paper requires teachers paying more attention to cultivation of students' human-earth coordination literacy,strengthening the cultivation of students' human-earth coordination view in regional geography teaching,promoting the diversity of regional geography teaching methods and teaching modes,and advancing the diversification of evaluation means.(2)Strategy in Students' level.This paper put forward that students need further understandings of human-earth relationship and more attentions to the problem of "human-earth relationship" and other strategies;(3)Strategies in school level.This paper proposes that increasing importance of geography,strengthening the allocation of geography resources,carrying out geography practice activities,and digging out human-land coordination materials based on local characteristics.In addition,this paper conducts an empirical teaching analysis on the strategy of "Updating the teaching methods and teaching models of regional geography" through case analysis,which is concluded that a variety of teaching methods and teaching models play a certain role in improving students' human-earth coordination literacy.
