The ancient Chinese prose has a long history and have many excellent works,showing a colorful appearance.The historical biography is an important part of ancient Chinese prose;it originated in the pre-Qin period,become mature in the Han dynasty.Sima Qian's monographs Shih Chi is the culmination of the historical biography.In the historical biography,there have so many positive characters,they produce many positive influence on high school students of their bodies and mind,so it should be an important part of learning for high school students.This paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and the text.The text is divided into three parts: the first part starts with the stylistic awareness of the historical biography,briefly describes its' concept,generation,and the basic characteristics.,then I comb the historical development amply.Secondly,I analyze the superiority of Shih Chi.Once again,I take the current Chinese textbooks for high school and the national test paper in the nearly eight years of college entrance examination paper of classical Chinese reading as the research objection.First of all,comb the classical Chinese in the text of compulsory text from one to five and the historical biography in the optional book The Appreciation of Ancient Chinese Prose Poetry.We can analyses that its important position in the language teaching material in high school from two aspects of the selected articles is amount and unitary teaching.After all,I comb the writings of the classical Chinese in college entrance examination,pointed out that the historical biography as the hotspot and focus of the college entrance examination,is an important part in college entrance examination language,it deserves attention.The second part is arranging and analyzing the questionnaires.I investigated some senior middle school teachers and students of my old school-Xia Yi county senior high school about the historical biography teaching and learning.And I discovered problems in the historical biography teaching.The third part is on the basis of the former two chapters,then explore teaching strategies of the historical biography further.It is the core part of the paper.I try to use four kinds of teaching methods: Reading guidance method,Intensive reading of the text method,Comparative reading method,Try writing method.Then I apply them in the classroom teaching of the historical biography,hope can enhance the teaching effect and level.Anyhow,the historical biography's teaching not only pay attention to the accumulation of Chinese characters,words and sentences.The teachers should guide students to understand the historical biography from each aspect,use various teaching methods to stimulate students' interest,to better play the inspiration and enlightenment function of the historical biography.
