The report of the party's 18 th National Congress pointed out: " Strengthen moral education and cultivate people is the fundamental task of education,and it fosters the socialist builders and successors who are all-round development of morality,intelligence,beauty,and the like." The "strengthen moral education and cultivate people" was first established as the fundamental of education.The task is to deepen the education concept of the party's 17 th National Congress “We insist on educating people and taking moral education first”.Being a man is fundamentally moral,and the root of success is morality.And the school is a key city for the country to cultivate the builders and successors of the future motherland.Adolescents are crucial for the formation of good character and moral quality.Therefore,moral education in primary and secondary schools is particularly critical.However,moral education in primary and secondary schools cannot be separated from the interaction of the general social environment,so as to maximize the effectiveness of moral education in primary and secondary schools.This paper uses the methods of research and comparative analysis to compare and analyze the history and current situation of Chinese moral education in primary and secondary schools in Singapore.Combined with the social environment facing the moral education of the current school,namely family and society,it provides suggestions for the further improvement of moral education in primary and secondary schools in China.The first part: Through combing the development of moral education in primary and secondary schools in China and Singapore,it can be seen that the moral education in both countries continues to make adjustments in response to the development of the country's politics and economy.Along with the development of the country,moral education in primary and secondary schools has become even more important.Starting from the students themselves,carry out reforms.The second part: This chapter focuses on analyzing and comparing the goals,content,approaches and methods of moral education in primary and secondary schools in contemporary China and Singapore.It concludes that both primary and secondary schools in both moral education goals and content setting are related to the history and development of their respective countries,and teenagers.Children's development laws are related;the use of moral education approaches tends to be thesame.All courses are offered,student-oriented activities,and community activities are morally involved.However,Singapore's development is relatively complete,China still has room for improvement,and China's own unique national conditions make China's The Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers in moral education in primary and secondary schools have become an important means of moral education.Both countries have their own emphasis on moral education methods.Singapore focuses on value clarification,and China slightly emphasizes indoctrination.Both methods have advantages and disadvantages.The third part: Through the comparative analysis of the above chapters,some suggestions for improving the effectiveness of moral education in primary and secondary schools in our country are put forward.
