Starting from their actual conditions, absorbing and learning from the excellent composition of the Eastern and Western cultures, Singapore has formed a moral system which is adapted to the nation. On the basis of this system, its moral education has achieved significant results, which is largely due to the social environment construction of moral education. On the contrary, China's much emphasis on moral education has not been significantly effective. The main reason is the relatively poor construction of social environment in spite of the relatively in-depth theoretical studies. Singapore's successful experience in social environment construction is of great reference value to our study on social environment construction of moral education considering both countries'location in Asia and their cultural similarities. This article discusses the social environment construction of moral education in Singapore and investigates its implication for China.Part one:Introduction. It discusses the background, significance, ideas and methods, and explains briefly the related concepts in it.Part two:Main part. It explores the effect of social environment on moral education in schools in both Singapore and China, and analyzes the present situation.Part three:Key part. From political environment, economic and environmental, cultural environment and virtual environment four aspects, it analyzes the social environment construction of moral education in Singapore's schools.Part four:Conclusion. This part mainly discusses the revelation of the social environment construction of moral education in Singapore's schools to our schools' moral education from the following angles.
