As a vital part of education in ideology and politics, moral education exists throughout human history and penetrates into all areas of our social life, and therefore has always been a focus of scholars as well as the public. Employing the method of comparative study, this thesis conducts detailed and concrete study on the similarities and differences between the moral education of China and Singapore from the scientific, social class, and historical perspective in the hope that this essay may provide a theoretical reference for improving our country's moral education level by learning a lesson from Singapore's. In conclusion, making comparison sheds new lights upon the difference between others and us. China need borrow from the advanced countries to look back on its own past and to strike a better mold in moral education more suitable for China's own characteristics.This thesis consists of two parts:the introductory part and the main part. The main part can be divided into five parts. By making comprehensive comparison and analyzing the education reform in China and Singapore, the first part mainly focuses on the history and evolution of the two countries'moral education, providing background and laying foundation for the following research. The second and the third part make case study and have detailed analysis on the different moral education routes of China and Singapore. The fourth part, based on the above mentioned overall comparison and case study, deepen the"comparative study of moral education in China and Singapore. The fifth part is a conclusion part which focuses on what China can learn from Singapore's successful precedent.
