Geographic image is the second language of geography,and it is the visual tool of geography teaching.It is the most important carrier of the new curriculum standard geography examination paper,and the best platform for the examination of geographic subject ability.Geographic image reading and application is one of the basic core competence of citizens,the college entrance examination is "No map no questions".However,high school students' cognition of geographic image is low,the research on the geographic image of the college entrance examination is also insufficient,and the teaching strategies of adaptability are lacking.Therefore,this paper,through the literature,statistical analysis,case analysis and interview method,takes the geographic image of the new curriculum standard national volume I from 2013 to 2017 as an example to explore how the college entrance examination uses the geographic image to examine students 'geographic subject ability,and puts forward the adaptive teaching strategy of the high school geographic image.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part briefly describes the background and significance of the research,and summarizes the research present situation of the topic both here and abroad,and finds out the shortcomings,and then puts forward the problems of this study,clearly studies the research goals and contents,and determines the technical route and methods of the research.The second part defines the concept and classification of geographic image of college entrance examination through literature research,analyzes the connotation of geography ability and the four goals and requirements of the ability assessment in the national college entrance examination outline,and then divides the ability level of examination questions with the SOLO classification theory,and lays a theoretical foundation for the study.In the third part,the geographic image of the new curriculum standard national volume I from 2013 to 2017 is titled as the research object,and the ability target and the ability level of the geographic image problem are analyzed by year.According to the statistical results,it is concluded that in recent 5 years,the number of geographic images is large and the proportion of test questions is high.The single choice questions mainly focus on the following two abilities:"acquiring and interpreting geographic information","mobilizing and applying geography knowledge".The comprehensive questions mainly focus on the following two abilities:"describing and interpreting geographic objects","demonstrating and discussing geographic problems".Among them,"acquiring and interpreting geographic information" is the foundation,"mobilizing and applying geography knowledge" is the key,"describing and interpreting geographic objects" is the main body,"demonstrating and discussing the geographic problems" is a difficulty.In the fourth part,5 types and 8 geographical images are selected from the new curriculum standard national volume I for the last 5 years,to discuss different geographic images in examining the practice and effect of geographic subject ability,summed up the geographic image of college entrance examination to investigate the subject ability has the characteristics of basic,comprehensive,practical and innovative.The fifth part puts forward the adaptability strategy of geography image teaching in high school:Changing concepts,attach importance to abilities;Summarizing methods,read pictures in order;Interpreting knowledge in pictures,transfer knowledge;Exploring independently,analyze comprehensively;And drawing pictures based on life.The sixth part summarizes the main conclusion of the study,the lack of introspection,and the prospect of the future.This research provides a reference for geographic image teaching in high school.It also hopes to cause geography teachers and students to attach importance to the ability and accomplishment of geography,and to put the training of discipline ability into the teaching and learning of geographic image so that these abilities play an important role in the course of lifelong development of students.
