As one of the most important means of Chinese teaching,the textbook drama has changed the previous teacher-led teaching situation into using students as the main subject,which can greatly improve the students' Chinese literacy.In addition,under the guidance of textbooks,teachers can also improve their abilities in practice,and schools can also create their own excellent courses through the textbook drama.In the last century,some scholars have begun to do some effective researches on textbook dramas,and these researches have reached a high tide over the years and their focus are the role of textbook plays in Chinese teaching,the guiding strategies of textbook drama in Classic works,the implementation strategies of textbook drama in Chinese class and the problems existing in the development of textbook drama.However,there are relatively few researches on the teaching and application of textb ook plays in specific styles and problems in the implementation of textbooks.Therefore,great significance is supposed to attached to the application of textbooks drama in the tea ching of Chinese novel in high school and meeting the urgent needs of research.This thes is tries to clarify textbook drama is of great significance to the teaching of Chinese novel s in high school as an assistant teaching method,and according to investigation performed in practice,we find the practical problems of textbook drama in the application of novel teaching,so that textbook drama can be more effectively applied to teaching Chinese novels in high school.Specifically,the arrangements of this thesis are as follows:the first chapter is a briefly introduction of novels from Chinese Textbooks in high school,including the distribution,length,nationality,core value,typical characters and plot structure analysis of these novels,a detailed analysis of the basic characteristics of the novel has been done and point out the form of textbook drama can mostly adapt the characteristics of novels,that is to say,textbook drama is beneficial to achieving teaching aims effectively and cultivating the comprehensive ability of students.In the second chapter,according to investigation and research,Firstly,situation of the application of textbook plays in the teaching of novels is found that it is low in application frequency,narrow in scope and poor in effectiveness,Among-them,the low frequency of application is manifested in the times that textbook drama are applied each term and the application of foreign novels.The narrow scope of the textbook drama appears that teachers tend to guide students to pay more attention to the ancient novels instead of the contemporary novels and foreign novels.The tense difficulty is mainly reflected in the students' poor performance,the guidance of teachers is difficult to conduct and it' s easy for students' performances to fall into the stereotypes and stay on surface.Secondly,it analyzes four reasons,first,the constraints of the present situation of teaching.The examination oriented educational mechanism determines the utilitarianism of education and teaching.Teachers and students are unwilling to put more energy into this teaching method and textbook drama is supposed to be less beneficial.Second,students' ability is insufficient.The interpretation,adaptation and creation of the text of students need to be strengthened as well as their ability to perform.Third,the limitation of textbook drama' s characteristic.The teaching material,the story background and the country's distribution span are all very extensive,thus the students' understanding and integration of the text are relatively difficult.Fourth,the misinterpretation of the connotation of the means.Many teachers and students think that the teaching of the textbook drama is just a reduction and performance of the contents of the textbook on the stage.The six steps of "selecting,preparing,compiling,acting,evaluating and guiding" need to run through the whole course of the textbook drama.In addition,more students and teachers put their eyes and emphasis on the link of editing and performing,but they did not realize the importance of "selecting,preparing and evaluating".The misinterpretation to the connotation of the textbook drama has weakened the teaching effect of the textbook drama directly.The third chapter analyzes and puts forward the corresponding solutions to the situation above,In particular,the importance of early preparation and later feedback is emphasized in combination with the classroom works of teachers and students.The fourth chapter put forward the application of specific teaching ideas and reflection from the teaching practice.It is particularly emphasized that the teaching objects of the textbook drama should be set clearer and more detailed,the specific steps should be perfected,the resources should be fully utilized and textbooks and other auxiliary teaching methods should be combined reasonably.As a result,textbook drama can provide guidance more effectively for the teaching of Chinese novel in high school.
