An Empirical Study On The Relationship Between Population Flow,urbanization And Regional Economic Development In Sichuan Province

In the background of the shift of the trend of domestic population flow,the deepening of urbanization,and the transformation and upgrading of regional economy,accompanied by a series of social problems,it will be difficult to further promote social development.Therefore,we must consider the issue of coordinated development between population mobility,urbanization and economic development,and study the relationship between them.This is the core content of promoting a reasonable and orderly population flow,promoting new urbanization and economic and rational distribution.This article will take Sichuan Province as an example to explore the relationship between population mobility,urbanization and regional economy from the perspectives of coordinated development and interactive relations,in order to make a beneficial exploration for the related research.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)taking the statistical data of 183 districts in Sichuan province from 2000 to 2016 as a sample,the combined index of population mobility,urbanization,and economy in Sichuan Province and the five major economic regions were calculated.(2)the comprehensive index of population flow,urbanization and economy was taken as the sample,and based on a distance-based coordinated development model,the coordinated development relationship between the population flow,urbanization,and regional economic duality and ternary systems in Sichuan Province and its five major economic regions is calculated.And the results are analyzed.(3)The comprehensive evaluation index of the population flow,urbanization and economy is still used as a sample,An empirical study about the dynamic relationship between population flow,urbanization,and regional economy in Sichuan Province and its five major economic regions was conducted with panel vector autoregression model.Through the above study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The population mobility,urbanization and regional economic development in Sichuan Province as a whole show an upward trend while there are obvious regional differences.The population mobility,urbanization,and economic comprehensive index of the Chengdu Plain are always higher than those of the other four economic regions,while which in Panxi and Sichuan's northwest ecological economic regions are far smaller than other economic regions.(2)There are obvious regional differences in the coordinated development of the binary and ternary systems between population mobility,urbanization and economic development in Sichuan Province.The coordinated development of the binary and ternary systems of the population flow,urbanization and economic development in Chengdu plain,South Sichuan and Northeast Sichuan has already entered a coordinated state,and the coupling coordination between population flow and regional economic in Panxi and Northwest Sichuan Province are also in the phase of coordination,the coupling coordination of other binary and ternary systems is still out of tune.(3)The bidirectional dynamic relationship between population flow,urbanization and economic development in Sichuan has regional differences and asymmetry.There is a bidirectional positive dynamic relationship between urbanization and economic development in all economic zones,and the influence of economic development on urbanization is greater in northwestern Sichuan.The impact of urbanization on economic development is more obvious in South Sichuan.Population flow has the greatest impact on economic development in Chengdu plain area,the economic development of South Sichuan and northwestern Sichuan has a great influence on the population flow,and the influence of the population flow,urbanization and economic development in other areas is lower.Population mobility has a greater impact;The degree of interaction between population mobility,urbanization and economic development in other areas is relatively low.
