Teenagers are like the nascent rising sun as the hope of increasing development and the newly emerging force of prosperity and power for the country.Also,adolescence is the golden age to develop and shape personalities.Vigorous growing-up of numerous teenagers bears upon the steady promotion of socialist modernization in China.However,some discordant conditions appear nowadays during such an originally carefree and pure period.With constant exposure of school bullying problems in recent years,there is growing public concern about its severity and harm.Therefore,it brooks no delay at this stage to study how to prevent and control the intensified bullying issues on campus.The author takes S Middle School in Anhui Province as the object of study and collects information about school bullying from multiple dimensions,using methods of questionnaire and participant observation with the assistance of new media tools.It reveals that bullying behavior is common in middle schools,and research data demonstrates that the form of bullying behavior mostly lies in language and relationships.Under these circumstances,the author applies Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy(REBT)and the mode of behavior modification in an integral way,uses the working method of case study based on professional theoretic knowledge,sieves out 3 most representative types of bullying characters in S Middle School and carries out the intervention research respectively.The social skills and self-cognition of 3 clients have been fairly improved by means of primary casework counseling.Upon interim assessment,social workers have rectified clients' deviant behavior and irrational belief through transference andself-management training,finally achieving the purpose of helping clients to recover self functions.On the basis of practical research,social work is shown to be a substantive subject with specialized advantages in respect of school bullying prevention and control,providing a new intervention perspective for school education and bullying prevention on campus,which is of great significance.
