With the opportunity of the "Outline for the Teaching of Physical Education in Ordinary Colleges" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2002,yoga has been able to enter the physical education curriculum.But,from the perspective of the current status of college yoga curriculum development,There is an emphasis on posture,which obscures its practice and dwarfs the issue of the educational value of yoga.The lack of an accurate grasp of the original meaning of yoga is theoretically the root cause of these problems.So,in order to properly examine our college yoga curriculum problems,to explores the root causes,specific problems,and improvement ideas of the existing problems.First of all,for find a clear foothold to analyze the problems of yoga course in colleges,based on the Indian philosophy and the relevant documents of Indian Yoga,taking the "identity" of ancient Indian Yoga as the main line,to comb out the semantic and evolution process of ancient Indian Yoga.Furthermore,for find out the social origin of yoga course,to the process of Yoga spreading in our country,especially the problems existing in the popularization of yoga in modern times is sorted out.Finally,adopting method of questionnaire survey combined with field investigation,analysis of yoga curriculum development in colleges,for clear the specific problems in yoga college education.The conclusions are as follows:(1)It is known from the "identity" in the evolution of ancient Indian yoga,Yoga is the practice of "body and mind".It emphasizes ethics and behavior norms,promotes the individual's perfect development,achieves self-knowledge with consciousness,and shows the function of enlightenment to personality.It is the organic combination of cultivating "body"(physical fitness)and sport "education"(personality education).In contrast,physical fitness is only a small part of it.(2)Through questionnaires and data analysis we can know,our Yoga course in colleges has many problems.Relatively speaking,problems such as low emphasis on the curriculum,weak teachers and inadequate material teaching conditions are only minor issues.The fundamental problems lie in:the misunderstanding of students'cognition of yoga;the content of the curriculum is too stylized;the curriculum fails to fully show the essence of yoga;the educational value of yoga is dwarfed.(3)Field investigation on Yoga course in Nanchang Hangkong University find,It was carried out on a large scale,The situation is better.but also faces many restrictive factors,such as insufficient teachers and insufficient attention.Its teaching method adopts the traditional teacher lecture,and the student imitates the practice way,the content is mainly based on the posture,simultaneously takes into account the breathing method,the meditation,the rest skill and the physical quality and so on.(4)Finally,based on the literature,questionnaires,field survey results,Analysis that causes the current problem of college yoga course in China is that:First,In the process of dissemination,modern yoga is eroded by the form of Western sports culture,causing alienation to be over body-oriented technology and its fitness function;Second,after entering China,modern yoga is subject to the current excessive pursuit of commercial interests,quick success and social environment,more emphasis on fitness benefits;Thirdly,judging from the concept of college education,the orientation of physical education curriculum in colleges to focus on improve health is too narrow,and Physical education in Colleges must be improved up height of Correctional education,Fourth,China's university yoga courses to carry out a short period of time,there is the phenomenon of Sapling growth.therefore,for improve the university yoga course,we should from the height of synergy with the concept of higher education,reconstructing the System of Yoga Course in Colleges based on "spiritual practice ",and in the university yoga teacher training to strengthen this capacity.
