With the“the Belt and Road Initiative” being proposed and gradually advanced,China communicate with neighboring countries are becoming increasingly closer.The language transmission value of Chinese is also becoming more and more prominent.Thailand is one of the “the Belt and Road” country.Thailand's “Teaching Chinese program” is the best and fastest growing in the world.The further development of Chinese education in Thainland will play an exemplary role in the countries around Southeast Asia.However,with the continuous deepening of Chinese teaching in the basic education stage,Chinese teaching has gradually exposed some problems.The number of Chinese language learners in Thailand has achieved "quantity accumulation" on a macro level,but problems such as Chinese teachers,Chinese textbooks,and Chinese teaching methods,which the "Three-Education Problem" have now become problems that obstruct the further development of teaching Chinese in Thailand and not good for improving the Chinese Teaching quality.How to solve the problems in teaching Chinese of Thai middle schools is the focus in thearticle.This article is based on the author's practical experience and related records at Pramochwittayaramintra School in Bangkok,Thailand.Through questionnaires and interviews to collect the opinions of front-line teachers,use teaching observation methods and literature research to writing the thesis.The article focuses on the investigation and research of Chinese teaching in Thai middle schools focusing on the five major points of Chinese teaching syllabus,Chinese teaching materials,Chinese teachers,Chinese teaching methods,and Chinese teaching environment.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first is about the thesis‘s introduction,clarifies the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the research content and methods,and the literature review;Then the next part briefly describes the development status of teaching Chinese in Thailand and the related policies of Chinese teaching in middle schools.Combined with the questionnaire data,it shows the overall status of teaching Chinese in Thai middle schools and the status of Chinese teaching in the author's teaching school;The second part is basis of the first part to analyze the results of the Thai middle school teaching Chinese and the causes of the existing problems,including the analysis of the Chinese curriculum syllabus,teaching materials,Chinese teachers,Chinese teaching environment and Chinese teaching methods;The third part and the fourth part are the key points of this article,aiming at the current situation and the problems that arise,and propose targeted measures to improve the teaching of Chinese in Thai middle school;The last part is to sum up the enlightenment of Chinese teaching in Thailand on global Chinese teaching.
