Current Situation And Countermeasures Of History Teaching In Rural Junior Middle Schools Of Suixian County,Hennan Province

Education is an inexhaustible force for social development.As a part of compulsory education,the development of rural education is related to the direction of social progress.Being an integral part of rural education,rural junior high school history education has its research significance and value.Firstly,the importance of rural history education is mainly illustrated in this paper.Secondly,through the analysis of the data of questionnaire survey,interview records,classroom observation,the author analyses the current situation of rural junior high school history education in Suixian by focusing on the four levels,namely,schools,teachers,students,history curriculum evaluation.The representative problems are: rural junior high schools cannot take history education seriously;history teachers' professional knowledge is not strong;Students' learning is not efficient;the evaluation criteria of history teaching are not multiple.Finally,according to the teaching problems reflected in rural history teaching,the paper puts forward the following countermeasures: take history education seriously and strengthen its importance in teaching;improve the professional quality of rural history teachers and strengthen their teaching and research ability;teach students scientific learning methods and pay attention to the formation of their learning habits;improve the educational evaluation system and promote the diversity of education evaluation.The investigation on the current situation of rural junior middle school history teaching in Suixian has deepened the author's understanding of rural history education.The author hopes the countermeasures proposed in this paper can contribute a little to the education career in our hometown.
