Education is about the rise and fall of a country, our country as an agricultural country, rural education problem is all the more crucial. Especially with the ongoing reform of rural integration and the basic education, rural education problems emerge in endlessly. As a basic course in the humanities social sciences, its status also has been challenged and into an unprecedented predicament. So exploring rural history teaching current situation and countermeasure has very important value.This thesis on the basis of previous studies and actual of Baihe County Shaanxi Province. Probing deeply into current situation and the countermeasures for the rural junior middle school history teaching.The thesis consists three chapters:The first chapter:Explained the background of the thesis, the research status quo,the research methods and research ideas used in the process,also points out the significance of this thesis.The second chapter:Combining several junior middle school history teaching situations of Baihe County, from the teachers, students and class three dimensions to illustrate problems of history teaching, and analyzing reasons of restricting its development.The third chapter:The author combined with her own teaching experience, interview and survey analysis and with the local reality, put forward the effective measures to solve the problem. Establish new history teaching evaluation system; Improving the comprehensive qualities of the history teacher, Dialogue teaching, guiding, strengthening method instruction; Cultivate the habit of students’ autonomous learning; Pay attention to the psychological health education of left-behind children, establish a good and harmonious relationship between teachers and students.
