The content of physical education teaching is the core of Chinese school physical education curriculum,and it is the intermediary that connects teaching goal,teaching implementation and other teaching factors.In teaching practice,the design,implementation and evaluation of physical education are all centered on the content of physical education.The content of physical education also reflects the demands of the country and society for the cultivation of talents,which is another reason why the content of physical education is one of the key points of the reform of the sports curriculum.In the reform of physical education curriculum in the new century,the content of physical education is one of the most important teaching elements,and its selection range and method are significantly different from that of previous PE syllabus.although,The content of physical education reform in the new century,to a certain extent,improve the enthusiasm of the teachers' teaching,promote the diversified development of physical education contents,but also had a few problems in the teaching practice.This study mainly adopts the literature method and the logical analysis method.Through reviewing and sorting out the development history of PE teaching contents in primary and middle schools in China since the founding of new China,analyzing and summarizing the characteristics,laws and influencing factors of the development of PE teaching contents in primary and middle schools in China.The content of physical education teaching in China has been taught in teaching practice,so as to provide ideas for the future development of physical education teaching content in China.The results of the study:(1)Since the founding of new China,the physical education teaching content of primary and middle schools in China has undergone a tortuous development process and has shown corresponding characteristics in different stages of development.(2)In terms of the choice of physical education teaching content,the content of physical education teaching in primary and middle schools in China has changed with the increase of flexibility and scope.(3)In the sports teaching content management,the content of physical education teaching in primary and middle schools in China reflected by the stipulation gradually to the law of development to flexibility.(4)In the aspect of the content of physical education teaching,the content of physical education teaching in primary and middle schools in China shows the law of increasing the degree of content processing.(5)In the aspect of the cultural security of physical education teaching content,the cultural security of physical education content in primary and middle schools in China shows a tendency of decreasing gradually.(6)In terms of the implementation of physical education teaching content,the actual physical education teaching content of primary and middle schools in China presents the tendency of generalization and simplification with the improvement of the flexibility of teaching content.(7)At present,the physical education teaching contents of primary and middle schools in China also have many problems.
