Study On The Reform And Implementation Plan Of The New Round Of College Entrance Examination System

The demand for diversified talents in the popularization of higher education and the limitations of the current college entrance examination system all require the college entrance examination to be reformed.At present,the key to reform is to increase the selectivity of students and colleges and universities,that is,colleges and universities take in suitable students for various majors,and students enter appropriate colleges and universities.Therefore,an important focal point for the reform of the new round of college entrance examination system is how to achieve selectivity.And the selectivity of college admissions is closely related to two issues:subject setting and admissions mechanism.The reform plans for the college entrance examinations of all provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)are elaborated on the basis of the State Council's “Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Examination Recruitment System Reform Opinions”,and therefore there are great similarities.However,the specificity of the actual situation in each province(municipality,autonomous region)has also made the reform programs of provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions)different in the aspects of selection test design,graded scoring system,professional examination subject requirements,voluntary filling and filing.The study has combed the historical changes of college entrance examination subject setting and college entrance examination admission mechanism,and explored the tortuous development process of selective college admissions.The reform of the new round of the college entrance examination system has both bright points and shortcomings in the cancellation of arts and sciences division,scoring methods for selection of examination subjects and admission mechanism.This is mainly manifested in the cancellation of arts and sciences division,taking the High School Achievement Test into the college entrance examination.Students can choose their own exam,but how to achieve selectivity is a big problem.The test results are graded scoring system so that the test scores of different subjects are relatively comparable,but the graded scoring system also lead to grading and fair questions.Exploring and referencing the assessment of the overall quality of qualifications,making admission standards more diverse,but difficult to achieve under current conditions.The new round of reforms in the college entrance examination system has increased the opportunities for students and colleges to make two-way choices.But how students choose exams,how high schools support students in selecting examination subjects and how to set professional exam selection requirements are all realistic problems that must be solved by admission choice.High school should do well in teaching arrangements under the background of the selection exam,to guide students to take reasonable exams.Students need to establish the conscious of choice and choose the test subjects that suit their own development rather than just considering short-term benefits.The two cooperate with each other to promote student scientific selection.Colleges and universities should exercise their autonomy in enrollment reasonably,formulate scientific professional admission standards,and do a good job in the setting of professional(category)elective subjects in a scientific and rigorous attitude.According to the enrollment situation and the matching degree between the selected subjects and the admission major,set hard criteria for admission or priority admission conditions,and scientifically select students to complete the enrollment plan.Strengthen the publicity of admissions that highlights professional dimensions,and provide more full information support for student selection.The implementation of admission selectivity needs to be based on the guidance of universities,and students,middle schools,and universities should cooperate and promote each other.
