Recently,a new concept,"subject core accomplishment",has been put forward in the new curriculum standard.The "core knowledge of geography" is also paid more and more attention to by geologists and teachers and educators.In the new round of curriculum reform,the core literacy of high school geography mainly includes four aspects,namely,the practice of geography and the concept of human harmony,comprehensive thinking and regional cognition.The practical force of geography is an important part of the core accomplishment of geography,and the cultivation of practical force of geography plays an important role in the cultivation of the accomplishment of geography and the realization of the goal of the tree man.Due to the influence of schools,teachers,students and so on,the practical activities of geography subjects are not paid much attention in schools in many areas of our country,which leads to the lack of practical knowledge of geography.Therefore,it is necessary to study the core literacy of geography practice,and how to cultivate middle school students 'geography practice is a challenge for middle school geography teachers.Based on this background,this paper,based on the existing literature and teachers'guidance and personal teaching experience,has carried out a series of researches on the core accomplishment of geographical practice by means of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview record.On the basis of analyzing the connotation,characteristics and the necessity of training the geographical practice force,this paper focuses on how to train middle school students in geographical practice.First of all,the author has carried on the interview survey and the questionnaire survey to the geography practice ability training status of students in Yunnan province,and learned that the present situation of the training of the core knowledge of the geography practice ability of students in this school is that most students in the geography practice ability is not strong,the practice ability level is low,but they have a strong interest in the geography practice activity.The geography teachers seldom carry out the geography practice activities,and they are not able to cultivate the geography practice ability of students,(b)Insufficient experience and inadequate operational capacity of teachers in carrying out geographical practice activities;Due to the problem of social environment,the security pressure is so great that both the school and the teachers are afraid to organize the students to practice geography.Schools do not pay enough attention to the training of students 'geographical practical ability,and there are problems in the use of facilities.In view of the present situation,the author studies how to cultivate students'geographical practical ability in the light of the actual situation of students in the first year of the study.Based on the case study,the author puts forward the strategy of cultivating students 'practical ability of geography in geography teaching:based on classroom teaching,opening up campus activities,expanding local geography practice activities,using home school cooperation,etc.
