With the deep implementation of China's "Belt and Road Initiative",the relationship between China and Africa has faced with many new opportunities to be developed.There is an accelerated trend of development in their economic and trade exchanges,production capacity cooperation and cultural communication.As an important part of China-Africa cultural communication,the communication and cooperation of education between them have also developed in depth.From the previous exchange of visitors,international students,the dispatch of volunteers to African countries and the construction of primary and secondary schools,to now it has been expanded to help some African countries improve the education capacity by teacher training,curriculum development and laboratory construction.In order to help African countries strengthen their teacher training and bridge the gap in education quality,China has set up a special trust fund in UNESCO for the education development in Africa and set up the UNESCO-Chinese Funds-in-Trust Project on Enhancing Teacher Education for Bridging the Education Quality Gap in Africa "(CFIT)to promote the African teacher training.A total of ten countries has been selected for the project in two phases,with eight countries in the first.Ethiopia is one of the first participating countries in the project.The author reviews and analyzes the background,process,organization and specific content of the project through literature review and comparative research method and summarizes some achievements made by CFIT teacher training project in Ethiopia,such as the enhancement of teacher ICT skills,the improvement of the teacher training environment,the development of their learning resources,training for the actual needs of recipient countries to ensure the transparency and effectiveness of the project implementation process.At the same time,the author atso makes some suggestions on the future development of the project and puts forward some suggestions such as the communication and coordination between the two aid parties should be paid more attention to,the cooperation mechanism of the project should be improved,and the second phase of the project should be actively publicized and expanded.The author hopes this project can truly become a typical example of South-South cooperation and become a seed project for teacher training in Africa which can play a good foundation and demonstration role in the training of teachers in Africa in the future.
