The Communist Party of China always attaches great importance to the ideological and political education work,pay attention to ideological and political theory course construction.The ideological and political theory course is the main channel and position in the ideological and political education of college students,shouldering the important mission of cultivating talents.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the construction of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities has made great achievements,and the appeal of classroom teaching has been continuously enhanced.However,ideological and political theory courses still have problems such as lots of phubbing,low efficiency,and lack of connections with college students.In order to further understanding of ideological and political theory course and students' performance in class,analyze the problems with their reasons and countermeasures,basing on the literatures which has been gathered,this paper uses the empirical research method to describe the phenomenon of the phubbing objectively and discuss the reasons of the phubbing in the ideological and political theory class.This research uses the constructivism learning theory to describe and analyze the phubbing in the ideological and political theory class,from the perspective of “meaning construction”.This research mainly uses classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method to collect materials and data,and uses the spss24.0 statistical analysis software to analyze the data of questionnaire survey.This research finds that personal cognitive factor and the classroom factor are influential to the students' classroom behavior,which are the reasons of the phubbing.And from the perspective of the results,the influence of the factors in the classroom is more important than that of the personal cognitive factor on the students' classroom behavior.According to the phenomenon and the reasons,from three aspects of the teaching content,the connection between teachers and students and teaching methods,the causes of the phubbing in the ideological and political theory class is discussed,in order to provide reference for improving the effectiveness of the ideological and political theory class.
