There exist a large number of generalist teachers in rural areas.They are the guarantee of power in rural basic education.However,there is less the special the management,evaluation and professional development of system for generalist teachers.So their value and prospect has been attracted controversy.One of the most important reasons is the question on the professional level,so it is necessary to enhance the professional level of generalist teachers.It is a significant way for post-service teachers to attend training to improve professional level.But,it is not much about the training of generalist teachers at present and there are many problems in the content,method and management of the training because of lacking deep understanding of demand.So the study based on the theory of teachers' career development and the theory of consciousness mainly used interviews,classroom observation,physical analysis to study teachers' training needs on the field of teachers' work.According to different age,seniority,grade,the number of teaching subjects,the study selected seven teachers who working rural primary schools in the middle and south of the North China Plain as the research object.The study found teachers' awareness of the training needs are mainly involved in training motivation,training methods,subject selection and training content and so on.Considering realistic factors and training feasibility,teachers will selectively express their training needs.The training needs expressed include the lack of training motivation;tangled in the way of choosing distance or face-to-face training;the lack of scientific guidance on how to select training subjects;training content embodying the characteristics of rural education,especially the methods of managing students.Training needs unexpressed mainly have some unsatisfied training needs,for example training ideological and moral discipline,Science discipline and go out training.Besides,Some training needs can't express such as teachers couldn't bear to turn down the requirement of replacing others with training.Unaware training needs are mainly included multidisciplinary education concept and method;conscientiousness;multidisciplinary knowledge;left behind children's knowledge;curriculum integration ability;comprehensive practical activity guidance ability;professional development consciousness and so on.To deeply understand the needs of teacher training,the training needs are explained and analyzed from the aspects of the rural humanistic environment,teachers' own factors,the characteristics of multidisciplinary teachers' work,and the management system of rural teachers' training.Finally,it reflects on how to better understand the needs of multidisciplinary teacher training and process of this research.
