The Characteristics And Enlightenment Of Early Years Foundation Stage

In the development of Early Years Education from all over the world,perfecting its policies and regulations,improving its teaching quality,scientifically and systematically formulating and effectively implementing policies have become a major trend.The UK has established relatively comprehensive policies in its Early Years Education,and based on the concept of "child-centered",it has incorporated a scientific and healthy outlook on children into its policies,with an aim to establish a unified,continuous and flexible early-childhood education system,so as to support the development of all preschool children from the age of 0-5 years.Although China and the UK have different social systems and economic development levels,the UK's education policy making,implementation,and its accumulated experience will still bring inspiration and guidance to the policy making of China's preschool education.With literature research method,comparative method,historical research method and text analysis method,this study collects abundant materials about theEarly Years Foundation Stage,takes the "Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage”as an analysis example,draws out the characteristics of Early Years Foundation Stage,and thereafter provides inspiration to China's preschool education.This research mainly includes four parts:The first part: Raise the issue,including four areas: research background,research significance,literature review and research methodologies.The second part: Analyze the policy of Early Years Foundation Stage in the UK and its course of formation and development and take the “Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage” as an example.The third part: Analyze and summarize the characteristics of Early Years Foundation Stage in the UK.The fourth part: Analyze the Inspirations for the policy of our country's pre-school education based on the enlightenment from above analysis.
