Robot education has long been regarded as an excellent carrier for cultivating students’ innovative spirit and practical ability.However,the problems of high popularization cost and different product specifications affect its further popularization.With the popularity of maker education,the emergence of open source platforms such as Arduino make it possible to solve these problems;in addition,the new high school information technology curriculum standard also involves open source hardware project design and preliminary artificial intelligence modules.This has brought new opportunities for the popularization of Arduino robots in primary and secondary schools,exploring the design and application mode of open source hardware such as Arduino robots in teaching has become more and more important.First,this study finds some problems existing in the current Arduino robotics course in senior high school through the questionnaire survey.Based on this,it follows the design principles of modularization of curriculum design,clarity of goal orientation,and integration of project content,integrating the link stage,construction stage,reflection stage and continuation stage of Lego 4C teaching method into the teaching design of Arduino robot:pay attention to multi-dimensional contact of Arduino robot project during the contact stage,keep the dynamic balance between basic knowledge module presentation and project exploration during the construction stage,establish Arduino robot evaluation mechanism and project sharing strategy in reflection stage,improve works to find the contact point in order to enter the next contact stage during the continuation stage.Then,according to the above design process,this study carries out the practice of the comprehensive project “Design and Production of Temperature and Humidity Alarms” integrated the LED small lamps,infrared remote controllers,buzzer,temperature,humidity sensors components,and pay attention to collect various data during the practice.this study analysis the practical effect from two dimensions of work and course satisfaction,coming to the conclusion that using Arduino to popularize robot education in high school is feasible and Lego 4C teaching method is suitable for teaching Arduino robot in high school.At last,this study makes some suggestions on Arduino robotics curriculum based on the curriculum system and teacher training in order to provide some reference for follow-up research.
