The phenomenon that secondary vocational school students spontaneously form informal group is objective and very common.It not only has a great influence on school class and school spirit,but also has a very important influence on students' outlook on life,values,behavior and attitude.Through a thorough review of a large number of domestic and foreign existing literature on the management of informal groups in secondary vocational school class management,the research situation at present is sorted and analyzed in this paper based on pedagogy,psychology,education management and other related theory,and the “Questionnaire on the Status of Informal Groups in Sports Schools” is also compiled,which is disposed by statistics analysis and so on.And then the whole cluster sampling method is used to study the students in Kunming Sports School,and the questionnaire is issued to 200 students of different grades in Kunming Sports School.Through the questionnaire,this paper tries to explore the characteristics,formation reasons and management status of the informal group in the class management of Kunming Sports Schools using SPSS software to analyze the results of the questionnaire,and then puts forward practical and feasible management countermeasures based on the investigation and research on the class management of the informal group so as to ensure the correct guidance of the informal group and the smooth development of the class management of Kunming Sports School.Through the investigation and analysis,it is concluded that the informal group of secondary vocational schools,especially in Kunming Sports School,is ubiquitous,often a small group of 2 to 4 people within groups due to the reason of origin,family background,class role,and individual differences.And there are no definite rules in their groups,but it will spontaneously form hidden rules of the group,which have the characteristics of cohesion,loyalty,influence and leadership.Informal groups in the class often have a dual role,both positive and negative.On the one hand,respecting the individual differences of students is beneficial to the development of students' specialty,and also promotes the competitiveness of the formal group and the diversified development of the class.On the other hand,improper guidance can lead to the formation of bad habits of group members and increase the difficulty of class management.Generally speaking,the formation of informal groups in the class is influenced by the same source,the consistency of the target,family background,the class and other external environment.Therefore,Education administrators should correctly understand the students' informal groups in the class of secondary vocational schools,and take appropriate guidance targeted to the different types of informal groups.Besides,they should also strengthen the function and effects of the formal group,and guide the negative informal group to transform to a more benign one.
