The class is the basic management and education unit in the school, it is also the most important social organization for the student’s school life. The informal group commonly exists in the class. The informal group has an important influence on the management of the class and on the development of the student. The class manager should give sufficient attention to the informal group. This thesis mainly analyzes the influence of the informal group on the individuals’ development and the class management by using the related theories of Sociology, and introduces some management strategies in order to promote the harmonious development of the individuals and the class.The full text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, the second chapter is the development of the individuals in the informal group, the third chapter is the influence of the informal group in the class on class management, the fourth chapter is the management strategies for the informal group in the class,the fifth chapter is about the conclusion and the prospect of the study.In the introduction part, the thesis makes a concise analysis of the reason of this proposition. By applying the multi-angle definitions supplied by the different scholars from the domestic and foreign countries, identifies some core concepts such as the class, the informal group, the informal group in the class of middle school. Combs the related research papers from domestic and foreign countries, clarifies the ideas and content of this research, briefly introduces methods and related theory will be used in this research.The chapter two, the chapter three and the chapter four are the core sections of the article. In the second chapter, the thesis investigates the human relations of the class by using Moreno’s sociomery method, three kinds of student have been distinguished, their characteristics have been analyzed, and the interpersonal relationship network map has been drawn by using the software UCINET. Through the interviewing method, it has analyzed influencing factors for the formation of informal groups inside the class, the characteristic of the informal group and the human relations inside the informal group,and its influence on the students’ individual development have also been analyzed.And then, in the third chapter, by using the related theories of Sociology and combined with the actual cases, this thesis has analyzed and discussed the influence of the informal group on the class management. In chapter four, the thesis presents an in-depth discussion on the management strategy of the informal group inside the class. By analyzing the current class management mode, it has brought out the problems which the teacher should pay attention to when he manages the class. The thesis also brings out the management strategies such as fully understanding and correctly grasping the informal group inside the class; enriching the “foreground” life to lead the “background ”life of the informal group inside the class; improving the effective communication work with the informal group inside the class.Finally, summarize the core views of this article, think about the existing research, and hope to have the opportunity to continue the study in more details. With diffierent methods and from different angles to discover more regularity for the teachers to improve their class management levels so that to promote the development of the individuals and the whole class.
