A Study Of The Model Characters In Primary School Chinese Textbooks

Primary Chinese teaching materials are the basic tools of primary Chinese classroom teaching,an important carrier of national traditional culture,full of strong ideological,figurative and emotional.People are the most vivid representatives of primary Chinese textbooks.That's the reason why the characters in primary Chinese teaching materials,especially the model characters,have an important influence on the formation and development of the emotions,attitudes and values of the immature pupils whose body and mind are not yet mature.Teaching materials in the figures,by analyzing the image of the characters to reveal the value orientation is an important way of textbook research.This paper systematically analyzes the role models in the selected texts of primary language textbooks and collects relevant documents and materials,and adopts the research methods of combining quantitative and qualitative methods.The writer divides the paper into the following parts:The first section is to introduct the background and importance of the theme selection,and then to narrate the definition of the concept related to the subject and focusing on the researches on the model characters in primary school Chinese textbooks at home and abroad.The second part is the statistics and analysis of the model characters in the primary school language teaching materials.First of all,it makes a brief exposition of the evolution of the six most influential primary school language teaching materials from the end of Qing Dynasty to the present on the historical dimension and makes a prospect.Then,it compares and analyzes the current PEP and SLJ primary school textbooks to find out their common characteristics and differences.The third part expounds the existing problems of the model characters in the current PEP and the SU version,and looks for the reason of the problem?The fourth part put forward my own proposals based on the corresponding issues for the textbook writers.
