Fairy tale is such kind of literature style,which is based on fantasy,united with exaggeration,symbolism and personification,and deeply loved by children.It has the irreplaceable function in delighting Children's heart,stimulating children's imagination and aesthetic ability etc.As an important part of Chinese reading teaching in primary school,fairy tale teaching should play an important role in stimulating children's reading interest,developing children's language ability and cultivating creative thinking.Under the perspective of children's literature,there are some misconception in fairy tale teaching in primary school: emphasizing on knowledge indoctrination and moralizing,ignoring children's personalized reading experience,paying too much attentions to logic,and using the formalistic teaching method.The reasons for the above problems are as follows: Teachers' awareness of learning theory is not strong,and their reading are of very narrow range;Teachers are lack of researching on children;Teachers' fairy tale teaching experience is insufficient,and their teaching ability needs to be improved;Teachers paid no enough attention to after-class reading of fairy tale and lack guiding skills.To improve fairy tale teaching in primary schools,this paper argues that only based on the perspective of children's literature can teachers lead students into the fantasy world of fairy tales and let them really enjoy fairy tale classes.Based on the analysis of fairy tale teaching problem and combines the literary characteristics of fairy tales in primary school Chinese textbooks,this paper put forward some suggestions in improving fairy tale teaching: In positioning fairy tale teaching objective,it should focus on Children's interesting experience,language sense culture,imagination and aesthetic ability development and healthy personality shaping.In implementation strategy of fairy tale teaching,this paper constructs several strategies as follows: Grasp the characteristics of the fairy tale,inspire children's imagination;Diversify the teaching form,improve the interest of the fairy tale teaching;Arouse children's aesthetic emotion,respect individuality expression.Finally,this paper putsforward some suggestions on teacher's fairy tale quality,so as to bring some thoughts to the improvement of fairy tale teaching in primary school.
