As the most favorite literary form for children, fairy tale has created a dreamlike kingdom for them with its unique fantasy and is very popular with a large number of children. And fairy teaching is an important part of the primary Chinese teaching,which shows its significance on motivating children’s interest in reading, cultivating their sentiment and training their creative thinking. Therefore, fairy tale teaching is regarded as the main land of the primary language,especially the first stage of the reading teaching.The current situation of the fairy teaching in primary school is unsatisfactory,for there are still many problems. This paper, based on a large amount of search on fairy tale teaching literature, which analyzes many versions of textbooks, calculates and classifies the selected fairy tales to discuss their rationality and theme orientation matter. In order to understand the problems existing in the fairy teaching, firstly, an inductive analysis is conducted of the teaching content of sixteen selected fairy tale teaching designs from prior teaching planning level. Next, from teaching generation level, a research is carried out on the misunderstanding for fairy tale classroom teaching in primary school through observation and analysis.Earlier studies have shown that only adopting children-based perspective,following children’s developmental laws and fairy tale’s characteristics, can teachers perform well in fairy tale teaching in primary school. Only led by fairy tale, can children feel the true, the good, the beautiful in this fantasy world, thus fall in love in fairy tale, in reading, and in Chinese as an art. Proceeding from the perspective of young children, combining with curriculum standards requirements, the author targets five basic goals for fairy tale teaching in primary school as follows: to take care of innocence---arouse children’s natural curiosity; to cultivate childishness---shape children’s healthy personality; to stimulate child interest---tap children’s fancy potential; to Cherish the language of children---listen to children’s voice deep in their heart, and to enlighten child intelligence---develop children’s creative thinking.This paper aims to make children-based perspective truly applied in fairy tale teaching in primary school, teaching demonstrate child interest, and instrumentality and humanity contained in Chinese teaching be in prefect harmony. In addition to selected textbooks analysis, the author refers to some books related to fairy tale teaching and makes an analysis of some expert’s lessons combined with teachinggoals, making four suggestions: ‘recommendations on improving fairy tales selected and topic targeting’; ‘recommendations on optimization without student section fairy tale teaching designs’; ‘the strategies on Improving the fairy tales Teaching in different stages’, and ‘recommendations on training the fairy literacy of Chinese teachers in primary school ’. The author hopes these advises can bring some thinking for the fairy tale teaching in primary school.
