A Study On The Teaching Of Chinese Fairy Tale Reading In Primary Schools From The Perspective Of Child-orientation Theory

As the unity of happiness,fantasy,poetry and game, the fairy tale reflects the colorful dream which in the Children’s heart.its literary style is deeply loved by the children,and become the Indispensable mental food for children’s growing.But many children start to hate it when the fairy tale go into the class,this is because the child-orientation is disappeared in the teaching of fairy tale in Chinese elementary school.This study regard the child-orientation theory as the main theory evidence and discuss the relationship between the child-orientation and the teaching of fairy tale in elementary school from three aspects.During the first part, the author explains the meaning of the child-orientation and starts to state the relationship between the child-orientation and the reading of fairy tale from four aspects, which are the happy principle of the fairy tale meet the nature of children,the fantasy spirit of the fairy tale include the colorful imagination of the children, the state of poetry in the fairy tale reflect the poetic wisdom of the children,the playing spirit of the fairy tale display the playing instinct of the children. At the end of this part,the author point out that child-orientation is the basic starting point in the teaching of fairy tale in elementary school.During the second part,the author use child-orientation theory to review the current situation of fairy tale teaching in elementary school.After analysis,the author find the compiling of fairy tale in the current textbooks are not base on the child-orientation theory, which is reflected in three aspects.First, many fairy tale’s theme in the current textbook is moral instilation, which lead to the lack of happyiness. Second, some fairy tale’s theme in the current textbook is transmit knowledge,and the charactor within is too unitary, so that the fantasy of the this kind of fairy tale is not enough.Third,because the limit of the article length, the compiler of the textbook delete some storyline and poetic words of the fairy tale, which lead to the lack of the poetry in the fairy tale.Except that, the author use child-orientation theory to analyze the current Chinese fairy tale reading class in elementary school.There are four phenomenons which the child-orientation theory is not used in the reading class.First,the teacher hype the function of fairy tale education, its mechanical teaching replace the emotional experience of the student.Second,the fairy tale story is divided into many knowledge point, its rational analysis replace the heart’s comprehension of the student.Third,in order to let the student achieve the objective of the teaching, the teacher usually ignore the personal interpretation of the student.Fourth, the teacher intend to build the lively class atmosphere,they separate the text of fairy tale to formalize the teaching.During the third part,the author raise some strategies and methords to help the child-orientation theory back to the teaching of fairy tale in elementary school.At the aspect of the fairy tale’s text selection, the compiler of the textbook could weaken the mechanical lecture,add colorful fantacy works,restore the appearance of the fairy tale, rationally compile the selections,add more fairy tale which reflects the child growing and so on to achieve the child-orientation in selection.At the aspect of the teaching, this study appeal to build a new teaching idea for the teacher,which is focus on children’s mentality,awaken children’s emotional experience, respect children’s personal comprehension.Next,through the analysis of the children’s mental charactoristic,the child-orientation theory,the teaching objective of compulsory education Chinese curriculum(2011 Edition) and the text charactoristic of fairy tale,the author raise the periodic objectives for the teaching of fairy tale in elementary school, at the same time, the author bring some main teaching strategies for every period.
