The Localization Of Social Work Professional Relationship

In the West，the Social work has become a respected and trusted professional afterdevelopment more than a hundred years. When building a socialist harmonious society,social work play a more an increasingly important role In China. It can help and solvemany social problems and to provide support and services to clients and integration ofsocial resources and provide social services and advocacy for social care.2006resolution of the Communist Party of China Sixth Plenary Session to furtheridentify and emphasized the important concept of the grand social work personnel.2011Central18ministries jointly issued a notice of the opinions on the strengthening of thesocial work professional development of qualified personnel, and ushered in thedevelopment of social work in China in the spring. However, the overall development ofsocial work is relatively backward and region develop its uneven in China, particularly insocial work ethics, except Taiwan, Hong Kong, the domestic and there is nocomprehensive code of ethics. Because the difference in the development of westernculture and society, In particular, the professional relationship of the West came to Chinahas shown the inability to adapt the situation.This article focuses on the ethics of the professional relationship, and Westerncultural soil and social development process through interviews with eight first-linesocial workers and social work practice experience of the author, that the West’sprofessional relationship is not fully applicable to our country, requires a combination ofsocial and cultural characteristics of China’s localization. I never advocate just becausethe relationship of Western social work profession in China is difficult to achieve wouldbe dismissed, and never in favor of simply because of different national conditionsabandoned. Social work in China should argue that the relationship between multi-levelintegration with a variety of relations, play the advantages of human relations, and makefull use of interpersonal trust, to promote the moral pursuit, increase the supervision ofsocial morality, which is the localization of the professional relationship.
