Since the 1980 s,China has begun curriculum reform,gradually delegating the decision-making power of the curriculum to local and schools,and forming a three-level curriculum management model of “national-local-school”.Under this curriculum management model,The concept of "school-based curriculum development" has emerged.Curriculum development cannot be separated from the choice of curriculum resources.Yan'an has rich red cultural resources.As a valuable curriculum resource,it has special educational value.The development of high school school-based curriculum in Yan'an City should take Yan'an Red Culture as its basic content,so as to further enhance the pertinence,adaptability,and effectiveness of the curriculum.This article takes Yan'an Experimental Middle School as an example to investigate the school's current status in the development and application of Yan'an red culture,summarizes experiences,analyzes problems,and makes recommendations to provide useful lessons for the development and application of high school political school-based curriculum.Through analysis and research,the Yan'an Red Culture has the following problems in the development and application process of high school political school-based curriculum: First,the school lacks active awareness.The theory of curriculum resources development requires education organizations to actively develop various types of curriculum resources.In order to save educational costs,some schools only develop and use some resources.Yan'an has a rich variety of red cultural resources,including both material resources and non-resources.Material resources,therefore,can only continue to develop and use diversified resources to play the huge role of Yan'an red culture.Second,teachers lack professional guidance.Theory is the cornerstone of practice.Practice can not be separated from theoretical guidance.Teachers lack the professional guidance on how to effectively develop and use Yan'an red culture,and extend and influence the progress of school-based curriculum development and implementation.The third is the lack of social support.Most parents of the students hold a “political useless” attitude and think that learning a good number of words can be admitted to an ideal school.Therefore,they are conservative in applying the Yanan Red Cultural Development to the political school-based curriculum,or they may follow the course and influence the curriculum.In this regard,this article believes that we must first improve the attitude of the educational organization and establish a sense of initiative.Put political school-based curriculum and other subjects on an equal footing and rationally plan the development and application of red culture in Yan'an.The second is to implement the “help and education” mechanism and invite professionals to give regular lectures and questions.Third,vigorously promote Yan'an's red culture into the curriculum and improve the status of political school-based curriculum.
