In recent years,the problem of Occupational Adaptation of teachers has attracted the attention of all parties and has become an important topic in the field of teacher education at domestic and foreign.At present,there are many researches on the new teachers' on-boarding training and teacher's abilities.There are relatively few investigations and studies on the occupational adaptation of new teachers,and there is less research on the positioning of the research subjects on primary school physical education teachers.The subject of sports is very special.Although it is not the main subject of the entrance examination,the proportion is increasing.It is also a subject that can benefit the students for life.In addition,new primary school PE teachers are a special group of teachers.Due to the younger age of the subjects they teach,and the fact that the teaching venues are outdoors,the requirements for teachers' ability in classroom disciplinary management are relatively high,and environmental adaptability is also required to be stronger.Therefore,how to help them complete the transformation of roles in a short period of time as far as possible,how to be able to adapt to the work of teachers quickly,healthily,and stably is a very urgent issue and a question worthy of discussion.In this study,the newly-employed PE teachers in Xiamen primary school were chosen as the research subjects.Questionnaire surveys and interviews were conducted to investigate the adaptability of new sports teachers' professional identity,professional ability,professional interpersonal relationship,and occupational environment.The results of the study showed that: : Occupational adaptation of new primary school sports teachers in Xiamen is good as a whole,but there are occupational adaptation problems in the four dimensions of occupational adaptation of new primary school sports teachers.The specific problems are: in terms of professional identity,there is a deviation between professional motivation and attitude;in terms of professional ability,there is a lack of specific skills and practical knowledge;in terms of professional interpersonal relationships,there is a lack of communication with parents of students and the relationship with leaders is notharmonious;In terms of occupational environment,wages and salaries cannot meet demands and workloads are too large,new teachers are difficult to cope with,schools' hardware conditions cannot meet teaching needs,and the effectiveness of new teachers' on-the-job training is low.The strategies proposed for the occupational adaptation of new primary school sports teachers in Xiamen include: individual teachers,adjusting their mentality,actively responding to challenges,formulating career planning,and improving professional competence;teaching schools,rationally arranging teacher work,and creating a harmonious campus culture;social aspects The education department provides effective on-the-job training,improving the working and living conditions of new sports teachers,and improving pre-service education.
