The paper combs domestic and foreign literature related with student leadership,and based on the Emotional Intelligent Leadership model and Leadership Identity Development model,refining the elements of secondary vocational students' leadership and preparing the questionnaire.The research tries to reveal the status quo and impact factors of secondary vocational students' leadership,taking seven secondary vocational schools in Shanghai as an example.First of all,the study finds that secondary vocational students' leadership identity development was divided into two stages: leader identified and leadership differentiated.And leading others is considered by secondary vocational students to be the most important capacity.Then the score of self-leadership,peer leadership,and consciousness of context are all above 3.85.Compared with previous studies,it shows that the development of secondary vocational students' leadership surpass the medium level.At last,the uniqueness of the secondary vocational students' leadership is reflected in career planning and professional knowledge and skills.Differential analysis shows that there are significant differences in gender,leadership experience,and grade.It shows that boys' leadership is higher than girls,but there is no significant difference in interpersonal communication in gender.Peer leadership and consciousness of context have a significant difference in leadership experience,while self-leadership has no significant difference.At the same time,there are significant differences in the years of being student leader.Students who are willing to serve as student cadre have higher leadership than unwillingness.In the end,the leadership of students is increasing with the increase in grades.Through the correlation analysis,it shows significant positive correlation between the secondary vocational students' leadership and the five impact factors that the level of student leadership identity development,teachers' behavior,peers interaction,school support and family.And the school support only has an effect on consciousness of context.Among them,teachers' behavioral has the greatest impact on self-leadership;peer relationship has the greatest impact on peer leadership;and family factor have the most significant effect consciousness of context.Above all,the paper puts forward suggestions for cultivating secondary vocational students' leadership from three aspects: change the concept of secondary vocational students' leadership development;building the concept of the whole member participate of secondary vocational students' leadership;teaching students in accordance of their aptitude.
