Since the new century,China new curriculum reform is being carried out in full swing.In the new round of curriculum reform,the requirements for teaching of world history have been higher.Moreover,French history is an important part of world history teaching.However,there are still some problems in the compilation French history in the current middle school history textbooks.Therefore,how to solve the problems and strengthen the teaching of French history in middle schools are still worth studying.This article takes the junior middle school history textbooks published by the People's Education Press in 2003 and the high school history textbooks published in 2007 as an example to discuss the issues of French history in the history textbooks of middle school.This article is divided into four parts:The first part presents the requirements of the history curriculum standards of junior middle school and high school for the study of the French history,and outlines the distribution of the French history in the junior middle school history textbooks of the People's Education Press 2003 and the high school history textbooks of the People's Education Press in 2007.The second part summarizes the major historical events in France from the history of political history,economic history and history of ideology and culture.In the history of politics,it discussed the establishment of the French Revolution and the French Republican political system;in the history of economy,it discussed the EU's participation in the organization of France;in the history of ideology and culture,it discussed the democratic ideas of modern France,mainly the Enlightenment Movement and the French Declaration of Human Rights.In the third part,interview middle school teachers and questionnaire survey middle school students who use the People's Education Press history textbooks.Then understand the present situation of French history teaching in middle school by analysis the results of interviews and questionnaire surveys.The fourth part comparison the differences in content distribution of French history and other major countries in the middle history textbooks of PEP,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the content of French history in middle school history textbooks,and advice direct at the disadvantages of French history in middle school history textbook from the system of compiling,content arrangement,content selection,and language use.
