Research purposes: With the reform of physical education teaching, the number of technical courses has gradually decreased.Javelin throwing is one of such course, which is a relatively difficult and high-demanding sports program. It is a great challenge for students to master such a technology in a short period of time. So,how to help students complete this challenge and master the difficult and high-demanding technology quickly and perfectly within a limited time is an important issue waiting teachers to solve. As we all know, teaching methods are an important part of the teaching process and have great impact on teaching effect. Therefore, scholars tend to solve problems which they encountered in teaching through adjusting teaching methods. In recent years, the unilateral video feedback teaching method and the bilateral learning method have gradually appeared in physical education teaching, and have been recognized in teaching practice.By referring to a large amount of literature, the author found that the teaching advantages generated by the two teaching methods come from two varying mechanisms. It is worth noticing that whether there will be a better teaching results by combining these two different mechanisms. Therefore, this paper endeavors to help students master such a difficult and high-demanding sports skills faster and better within a limited period of time by combining these two different methods so as to produce a new kind teaching method---bilateral video feedback method. It mainly explores whether the bilateral video feedback teaching method,as a new teaching method, can improve the teaching effect more effectively than the unilateral video feedback and bilateral learning teaching method, and realize the optimization of the javelin teaching. The author hopes that it can provide a reference for the selection and research of physical education methods.Research Methods: This research mainly uses the literature data method, expert survey method, video analytic method, mathematical statistics method, and teaching experiment method. In teaching experiment, there are one experimental group and two control groups, with 20 people per group. The teaching of javelin techniques was conducted for 16 lessons. The experimental group used bilateral video feedback teaching methods(bilateral physical exercises + bilateral video feedback). The first control group uses unilateral video feedback method(unilateral limb exercises +unilateral video feedback),and the second control group uses a bilateral learning method(bilateral limb exercises). In the experiment, the three groups of students were evaluated for the key techniques in each class, and the three groups maintained thesame independent variables during the whole process. Before the experiment, three groups of students were tested for their differences in body shape and physical fitness. After the experiment, the author conducted a comparative analysis for these students' achievement, performance of evaluation, and the key technologies of the javelin(the height, angle, speed, deviation angle, two centers of gravity).Research result:(1)The difference test results between the experimental group and the control group 1 showed that the average scores and technical evaluation of the students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group 1,and the P value is less than 0.05,with significant differences, indicating that the experimental group students are better than the control group two in both the achievement and technical mastery. On the analysis results of key technologies, the students in the experimental group were better than the control group 1.(2)The difference test results between the experimental group and the control group 2 showed that the average scores and technical evaluation of the students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group 2,and the P value is less than 0.01,with a very significant difference, indicating that the experimental group students are significantly better than the control group two in both the achievement and technical mastery. On the analysis results of key technologies, the students in the experimental group were better than the control group 2Main conclusions:(1)The teaching methods of bilateral video feedback can not only take the advantages of unilateral video feedback teaching method and bilateral learning teaching method in the teaching of javelin throwing, play a dual reinforcing role.Good interaction between visual and proprioceptive feelings is better than using one of the teaching methods alone.(2)Bilateral video feedback teaching method, compared with unilateral video feedback teaching method, can better promote the balanced development of students' hemispheres and their athletic potential. At the same time,it is more conducive to the coordinated development of the student's limbs, and plays a better role in teaching effect.(3)Bilateral video feedback teaching method, compared with double-sided learning teaching method, can better improve students' interest in learning javelin, improves classroom atmosphere, make students use of their subjectivity and optimize the effects of classroom teaching.
