In order to meet the needs of economic and social development for talented people,China has expanded its enrollment of full-time master's degrees in engineering since 2009.Its talent training goal is to cultivate high-level composite and applied engineering technicians or engineering management personnel.This determines that the training of full-time Master of Engineering should not only focus on the study of theoretical knowledge,but also pay more attention to the improvement of its comprehensive practical ability.Off-campus practice plays an irreplaceable role as an important part of meeting the goal of training practical ability.At present,many colleges and universities have explored in practice,but have not yet formed a mature organizational model.This study summarizes the organizational model of practice at Guangdong University of Technology,Tsinghua University,and South China University of Technology to provide reference for other universities.From the perspective of full-time master of engineering,engineering and mentoring both inside and outside the school,this article first uses the questionnaire survey method and interview method to fully understand whether full-time master of engineering graduates participate in practice,preparation before practice,and mentoring.Then using the case study method to generalize and enhance the external organization links of Guangdong University of Technology,Tsinghua University,and South China University of Technology,forming the “one platform,three stages,and four mechanisms” organizational model of Guangdong University of Technology and the “trinity” of Tsinghua University,and the “whole process management” organizational model of South China University of Technology.And then discussed the actuality of the implementation of off-campus practice in three case universities,focusing on the practice base construction,management model,practical content,practical teaching inside and outside school,etc.Aspect analysis.On this basis,by comparing the organizational model of practice in three universities,the common characteristics and differences are summarized.Finally,relevant suggestions are made to solve the current problems.
