Education is the great undertaking of our country.The education of western China is the weakest part in China.The development of education in Xinjiang province plays an important role in the development of education in western China,and the education of Bingtuan is also an important part of the education of Xinjiang province.At present,the education of Bingtuan has been greatly improved,but there is still a large gap compared with the central and eastern regions.In September 2014,the State Council issued an opinion on the implementation of the reform of the system of deepening the examination and enrollment system,and the latest round of the reform of the college entrance examination in China started.The college entrance examination reform had many major adjustments and transformations in many aspects,high school biology also changed from a compulsory subject to an optional one.In face of the new round of college entrance examination reform,what are the problems that need to be solved in the biology teaching of the high schools of Bingtuan? Are the biology teachers and students in the high schools of Bingtuan ready to adjust to the new round of college entrance examination reform? With these questions,the author carried out a survey of biology teachers and students in the high schools of Bingtuan,to understand the status of biology teaching in high schools,the views and opinions of teachers and students in Bingtuan on the new round of college entrance examination reform,and discuss how to achieve better results in high school biology teaching under the new round of the college entrance examination reform.In the context of the new round of reform of college entrance examination,based on reading the relevant literatures,combined with the biology teaching in high schools of Bingtuan and the new round of reform of college entrance examination,the author designed questionnaires and interview outline,using questionnaires,interviews and other methods to investigate biology teachers and students inhigh schools of Bingtuan,viewed and analysised the teachers’ continuing education courses in Bingtuan.The investigation contained some high school biology teachers those who from fourteen parts of Bingtuan,and students those who from three high schools in Shihezi city,one is key school and the other two is ordinary ones,nine classes in total.Moreover,it also contained some high school teachers those who taked part in the teachers’ continuing education courses in Bingtuan in the summer of 2017.The investigation contained teachers of all ages and every part in Bingtuan.A total of 160 questionnaires about teachers were issued and 147 effective questionnaires were recovered.The recovery rate was about 91.88%.A total of 480 questionnaires about students were distributed,and 425 valid questionnaires were recovered,and the recovery rate was 88.54%.A total of 25 questionnaires about teachers who took part in the high school biology continued education in Bingtuan were issued,and 20 valid questionnaires were recovered,and the recovery rate was 80.00%.On the basis of the questionnaires,we made a selection of eight teachers conducted interviews,in order to ensure the universality of the interview results,the ordinary high school biology teachers and key high school biology teachers were each half,half male teachers and female teachers,half young teachers and teachers engaged in years of teaching experience.The data was collated and analyzed by EXCEL software.The investigation found that: Biology teachers and students in high schools of Bingtuan cant’t understand clearly and have some confusion on the new round of the reform of the college entrance examination;There are many difficulties in the development of biology experiment teaching in high schools of Bingtuan;Most high schools and biology teachers in Bingtuan need to make changes and adjustments in many aspects in order to truly adapt to the new round of reform of college entrance examination.Based on the above explorations,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures: One is the ministry of education in Bingtuan should strengthen the propaganda and interpretation of the new round of the reform of the college entrance examination,increase the investment in education and improve the system of teacher training;One is high schools in Bingtuan should improve the teaching equipment,improve the evaluation mechanism of teachers and students,promote all-round development of students;The other is biology teachers of high schools in Bingtuan should actively respond to the new round of college entrance examination reform,adapt to changing and improving their own qualities,improving the students’ understanding of biological disciplines,increasing students’ interest in learning biology.
