In recent years,the importance of vocational education has gradually emerged in China.At the same time,the state's support for secondary vocational education is also increasing.As the main body of vocational education,secondary vocational education has welcomed new opportunities and bears the task of cultivating a large number of skilled high-quality talents.It has become an important part of high school education in China.It has expanded the enrollment scope and added more talent reserves for the socialist construction,which is an important basis for the development of our country's society and economy.However,the opportunity and the challenge are coexistence,the increase in quantity does not represent the improvement of the quality.The secondary vocational education has exposed obvious problems in the practice.It is particularly prominent in the curriculum,which leads to the lack of true meaning of the curriculum and the implementation of the curriculum,which makes the social benefit of the teaching less than the social identity.In the environment of rapid development of the market economy,in order to adapt to the diversified market demand,improve the quality of education,set up the curriculum of secondary vocational schools reasonably and enhance the value of vocational education,advanced management theory must be introduced.The new public management theory focuses on public goods and services,emphasizes market orientation and performance output,advocates the reset of government power,reduces government expenditure.While establishing a customer oriented service type government,it attaches great importance to the introduction of advanced enterprise management experience to manage the government,to a certain extent,and secondary duty.Therefore,the application of the new public management theory to the curriculum reform of secondary vocational education has a strong theoretical and practical significance.Based on this background,this paper,on the basis of the research status at home and abroad,combined with the specific questionnaire survey and interview method,further points out the limitations of the course of secondary vocational education,the low correlation between the curriculum implementation and the practical application,and the current situation of poor teachers' strength,from the curriculum itself and teaching.From the perspective of environment,the problems and reasons are analyzed.According to the interpretation of the new public management theory,it points out its characteristics of public,adaptability,responsiveness and effectiveness,analyzes its theoretical significance,and explains the core value and breakthrough point of the new public management theory to secondary vocational school curriculum reform,as well as the theoretical support and thinking of the curriculum reform in secondary vocational schools,and the objectives,principles and principles of the adjustment.The content is expounded and the overall thinking design is put forward,and on this basis,from the path exploration in the application of the new public management theory in the secondary vocational course reform,the management concept of the education unit is changed,the teaching and scientific research team and the effective aspects of the course setting are raised from the perspective of the market orientation,and the new public management is put forward.The specific application strategies and suggestions of theory in secondary vocational curriculum reform.
