The Research On The Identity Of Landless Farmers In The Process Of New Urbanization

With the rapid development of China's economy,the scope of urbanization is also expanding,and the number of landless farmers is also rising.They move from the village to the big city,from the traditional villages to the building communities,their production and life styles changes,therewith the way of interpersonal communication also change,but these changes can not be completed overnight for landless farmers,their adaptability and acceptance to these changes are slow.Therefore,the landless farmers are passive from the farmer to the citizen under the circumstances of not yet fully prepared,and accept a series of changes from this identity transform.In addition,the lack of government social security work for the landless farmers,the stereotype of the public towards them,these lead to the exclusion of the landless farmers from the new environment and the disapproval of their self identity,and these disapproval and exclusion may lead to new urban and rural conflicts and lead to social problems.Therefore,the identity of the landless farmers has become a problem that must be solved in the process of urbanization.From the perspective of social support network theory research,this study investigates the identity of landless farmers in Liu village by using the depth interview method.This investigates is divided into three aspects: system identification,social identity and self identification.At the same time,this study analyze the influence factors of landless farmers identity from three aspects,one is the analysis of the factors from the perspective of social role.The long-term restriction of the urban-rural dual structure separates rural areas from cities,further increase the distance between landless farmers and citizens,lead them to a role maladjustment;The second is from the perspective of social support network to analyze,including formal social support,social interaction support and mass media support.Finally,from the perspective of landless farmers themselves,so the key to solve the dilemma of landless farmers' identity is to help them build social support network,the perfect social support network can not only help them complete their identity,get the sense of belonging of the urban people,but also help them actively integrate into the city.In addition,the improvement of the quality of landless farmers and the support of government policies are indispensable conditions for completing their identity.
