With the developing of secondary vocational education in the country situation,the secondary vocational school recruit students in recent years.However,due to the relationship between students,there are many students in secondary vocational schools who have difficulty in learning,have fallen behind in grades,and have poor behavior habits."Students in difficulty" occupy a considerable proportion.They generally have problems such as poor learning performance,insufficient learning energy,lack of learning motivation,and improper learning methods.How to improve the learning ability of this part of the students and help them to grow up healthily has become a major problem for schools,families and society.For that matter,the author investigated the teachers and students of the science and engineering school in Zhongshan Torch Development Zone and conducted a case study on social work.First of all,under the guidance of relevant theories,through questionnaires and interviews,we understand the learning status of middle school students.Through analysis and arrangement,we sum up the reasons for the formation of "students in difficulty" and their manifestations.The second is to use the professional methods and techniques of social work to select a representative one as the service object,and use the case work intervention to help the case owner recognize himself,regain interest in learning,improve learning ability,and then improve academic level;Finally,the author puts forward a certain reference value path for the improvement of learning ability of the students in secondary vocational schools.In the course of case studies,under the guidance of ecosystem theory,superiority perspective theory,and label theory,the author has intervened from three aspects: self-knowledge,self-control,and self-management.The behavior therapy model and task center model are used to help the case owner correct the wrong perception of himself and learning,improve learning enthusiasm,strengthen self-control,strengthen learning goals,and finally achieve the goal of improving learning ability and improving academic level.During the three-month period of the case,social workers intervened and observed the case owners through professional working methods and techniques such as talks and "one-to-one" help.As a result,the bad learning status of the case owners was improved.Self-control and self-management have been enhanced,and learning has been greatly improved.Facts have proved that social workers are involved in the improvement of the learning ability of "students in difficulty" in secondary school,and use professional social workers ’knowledge and means to help "students in difficulty" face up to themselves,correct themselves,improve their own learning ability,and achieve self-scientific development.It can be used as an effective new type of student education method.It can provide new ways for other social workers to study and solve the learning problems or other problems of middle school students.It also provides help for students ’parents and teachers to educate their children.
